About this fabric

Woven in a 54% viscose and 46% polyester composition, this velvet has the supple sheen and plush handle associated with statement upholstery. The design shows an abstract wavy geometric repeat, with the pattern reading clearly across the pile thanks to the contrast between the lustrous saffron ground and the paler outlined motif. Its 18cm horizontal and 17cm vertical repeats create a bold, rhythmic surface that feels tailored rather than busy. With a 138cm usable width, 100,000 Martindale rating and severe contract upholstery grade, it is suited to demanding interiors, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

This warm saffron gold works beautifully on an accent chair, banquette or ottoman where the velvet can catch changing light. Pair it with charcoal, espresso or aged brass for a layered, luxurious scheme.

Use with dark timber and deep neutrals to let the golden velvet pattern shine.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Infinity Velvets Halo Saffron Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
