About this fabric

The design is formed from repeating symmetrical floral medallions, framed by scrolling leaves and smaller curling motifs in ivory against the muted gold ground. Its 33 cm vertical and 69 cm horizontal pattern repeats create a clearly ordered layout without losing the fine detail of the individual petals and foliage. Supplied at 138 cm usable width and 230 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery. The specification also records 417 threads per cm, consistent with the compact, richly detailed woven appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use the warm pale-gold tone to soften a neutral sitting room, pairing it with chalky ivory, aged timber and brushed brass. On a chair, ottoman or curtain, the ivory damask will read as a refined highlight rather than a high-contrast pattern.
