Tespi Spot Indigo/Taupe combines a cool, dark indigo ground with closely spaced taupe raised spots. The plush surface gives each rounded motif a soft, tactile edge while the darker ground adds depth between the pattern.

About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet weighs 504gsm and has a 142cm usable width, giving the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery. Small rounded spot motifs repeat every 2cm vertically and 2.2cm horizontally, creating a compact, regular geometric texture across the surface. In this colourway, the taupe spots read warm and softly heathered against the cooler indigo ground, with the pile catching light across their uneven edges. The 75 threads-per-centimetre construction adds visual density to the close-knit pattern.

How to use it

Use it on a reading chair, footstool or occasional seat where the warm taupe spots can soften the cool indigo base. Pair with chalky neutrals, dark timber and brushed metal for a tailored room with tactile contrast.
