Tobago Celadon

Palto FabricM4110-05

Tobago Celadon shows a softly mottled celadon ground scattered with a fine, irregular animal-style motif in deeper green. The effect is lively but restrained, with a pale, chalky background that keeps the pattern airy rather than high contrast.

About this fabric

From Manuel Canovas’ Palto collection, this fabric is woven in a 55% polyester, 45% viscose blend and measures approximately 140cm wide, with a repeat of V 20cm / H 18cm approx. The small-scale pattern reads like a delicate animal spot, set over a cool celadon base that leans slightly greyed and powdery in the light. The darker green motif gives the surface a soft, dappled rhythm without overpowering the ground, making the colourway feel fresh rather than bold. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where the emphasis is on colour, texture and pattern. The overall finish feels versatile and tailored, with enough visual movement to hold interest across a larger upholstered piece or relaxed window treatment.

How to use it

Use this celadon colourway to bring a cool, botanical note into schemes with pale oak, limestone and washed linens. It works especially well where you want pattern, but in a quieter, more grown-up green than a vivid leaf tone.

A muted celadon ground with a subtle animal motif suits refined upholstery or soft drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tobago Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
