Tobago Ebene shows a compact animal pattern in deep espresso brown set against an oatmeal ground. The effect is earthy and textured, with a soft woven look that keeps the motif from feeling harsh.

About this fabric

Tobago Ebene from the Palto collection by Manuel Canovas is composed of 55% polyester and 45% viscose, with an approximate 140cm width and a vertical repeat of 20cm and horizontal repeat of 18cm. The surface reads as a small-scale animal spot, rendered in dark brown against a warm beige-oatmeal background. Its matte, textured appearance gives the pattern depth and makes the darker motif feel settled rather than glossy. With no performance features noted and a fire code of K, it is presented as a decorative textile suited to interior schemes that want pattern without brightness.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an accent chair, banquette or occasional cushions where the espresso-on-oatmeal contrast can add movement and warmth. It pairs neatly with tan leather, smoked wood and soft neutral walls.

A warm, low-contrast animal spot that brings texture without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
