Eaton Check Sand

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF1001-14

Eaton Check Sand shows a softly tonal checked surface in warm sand and pale biscuit shades. The weave has a relaxed, lightly textured look that keeps the pattern feeling calm rather than crisp.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, Eaton Check Sand has a smooth yet naturally slubbed handle that suits a refined country or classic scheme. The check is set at approximately 12cm vertical and horizontal repeat across a width of about 140cm, creating a medium-scale grid with an easy rhythm. In this colourway, the pale sand ground is lifted by slightly deeper honeyed lines, so the pattern reads warm, soft and gently sunlit rather than stark. The visible texture adds depth to the squares without making the design feel heavy, which is why it works comfortably for either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or tailored curtains where the warm beige check can add order without formality. It pairs especially well with oak, cream paintwork and muted green accents.

A warm, mellow check that brings gentle structure to classic interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Eaton Check Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
