Eaton Check Brick Red

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF1001-33

Eaton Check Brick Red shows a classic checked pattern in warm brick red, softened by cream and blush-toned squares. The linen-rich weave gives the colourway a gently textured, woven look rather than a flat print.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, this fabric has a smooth but slightly slubbed surface that helps the brick red blocks read with depth. The approx. 12cm vertical and horizontal repeat creates a balanced medium-scale check that feels orderly without looking severe. In this colourway, the red is earthy and sun-warmed, with paler cream and faded rose notes that stop it feeling too hard or primary. With a width of approx. 140cm and a BM fire rating, it suits decorative interior schemes where a classic check needs a softer, more lived-in finish.

How to use it

Use it on a country-style armchair, window seat or loose cover where the red and cream check can add warmth without heaviness. It also works well for curtains in rooms with timber, stone or painted joinery, where the brick-red tone can anchor the scheme.

A warm checked cloth that brings easy country character to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
