Francine Tomato/Green

Ellerdine FabricF4924-03

Francine Tomato/Green is a spirited botanical with scrolling stems, layered flower heads and leafy sprays set against a soft light ground. The tomato red blooms and fresh green foliage give the design a bright, hand-worked feel.

About this fabric

Woven in a 63% linen, 26% acrylic and 11% polyester blend, this fabric has the natural slub and relaxed body you can see in the ground cloth, while the stitched-looking motifs keep the surface lively. The repeat is large at approximately V 77cm / H 127cm, which suits the generous scale of the blooms and trailing stems shown here. Tomato red, blush pink, sage and leaf green are balanced with small touches of gold and blue, creating a colourway that feels warm rather than harsh. At 127cm wide, it is a practical furnishing width, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code plus K fire code give it clear specification for interior use.

How to use it

Use it on statement chairs, cushions or curtains where the tomato red petals can be seen from a little distance. It works especially well with painted woods, warm neutrals and quieter green accents that echo the foliage in the print.

A lively botanical that brings warm colour and crisp detail to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
