Ombrone

Brenta FabricF8110

Ombrone brings a bold vertical stripe in warm terracotta coral, softened by pale ground tones and slimmer accent bands. The design feels rhythmic and sun-warmed, with a clearly woven character that gives the colourway depth.

About this fabric

Ombrone (pattern F8110) is a substantial 100% cotton fabric at 500gsm, 137cm wide, with a 50,000 rub test, making it well suited to upholstery. The stripe repeats in a long 34cm (13⅓in) repeat, and the scale reads confidently across the width of the cloth. In this colourway, the palette moves between earthy coral, salmon pink, muted sage-green and fine dark accent lines, creating a lively but grounded striped effect. The weave has a crisp, textured handle rather than a soft drape, which suits the fabric’s upholstery-led performance and BS5852 cigarette compliance. It is made in India and can also be treated to BS5852 Match Upholstery, BS5852 Crib 5 Upholstery or BS5867 Part 2 Type B Curtain standards if required.

How to use it

Use Ombrone on an accent chair, bench or ottoman where the terracotta and sage tones can stand out against plaster pink, warm white or oak. It also works well in relaxed rooms with natural textures, where the stripe adds movement without feeling formal.

Pair with warm woods and plain linens to let the lively stripe lead the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
