About this fabric
Woven in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, Balmoral FR Aqua is a 140cm-wide fabric with a 32cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat. The design shows a classic tartan-style check in pale aqua, soft cream and muted sage, threaded with narrow rust and burgundy lines for definition. In this colourway the pattern reads cool and light rather than heavy, with the cream squares helping the brighter blue-green blocks sit back visually. The surface has a dry, slightly textured look that suits everyday use without feeling stiff or formal. Care code BQV1< is supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this colourway on a loose sofa, dining chairs or Roman blinds where the aqua can brighten timber tones and painted whites. It works especially well in rooms with natural linen, weathered oak and a little warm rust in the accessories.
