Knole Damask Evergreen

Suffolk Damasks and Stripes FabricZOF0213-02

Knole Damask Evergreen combines a mossy olive-green ground with an intricate pale sage and stone damask. In the swatch, the closely repeated ornament creates a richly patterned surface while the softened contrast keeps the colourway grounded.

About this fabric

This 230 gsm woven fabric has a useable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 50 m. Its olive-green base reads muted and slightly earthy, with lighter sage-stone threads tracing scrolling foliage, mirrored flourishes and compact floral details. At 216 threads per cm, the fine patterning appears closely drawn and tonally layered rather than sharply graphic. The 58 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat give the damask a clearly ordered rhythm across the cloth.

How to use it

Pair the mossy olive tone with warm timber, aged brass and chalky neutrals for a quietly traditional room. The pale ornamental detailing also gives it enough contrast to work as a statement curtain or refined accent upholstery.

Use this muted olive damask to bring heritage pattern and subdued green depth to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Knole Damask Evergreen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
