CLAYTON Riviera

Haworth Fabric

CLAYTON Riviera is shown here in a deep, muted teal with a calm, even surface and a softly mottled weave. The colour reads cool and grounded, with a denser depth than a bright aqua but less navy weight than a dark blue.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, CLAYTON Riviera has a plain, fine-textured appearance with no visible repeat, giving the cloth a clean, tailored look. The 140cm usable width and General Domestic upholstery grade make it practical for everyday schemes, while the 20,000 Martindale rating supports regular use. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, so this colourway can be specified for both soft furnishings and seating where a smart teal finish is needed. Colour fastness of 5 adds reassurance for a fabric this richly toned, helping the shade hold its composed blue-green character.

How to use it

Use Riviera on a sofa or banquette for a crisp, contemporary teal statement, or hang it as full-length curtains where the colour can settle into a deeper, more atmospheric green-blue. It pairs especially well with pale oak, warm brass and chalky neutrals.

A versatile teal with enough body for upholstery and a smooth enough handle for drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
