Infinity Velvets Orbit Midnight Wavy

Infinity Velvets Velvet

Orbit Midnight Wavy pairs a deep midnight-blue velvet motif with a pale ivory ground, creating a bold, high-contrast look. The sweeping, ribbon-like pattern has a sculpted softness that catches the light as it curves across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, this velvet has a rich pile that gives the midnight-blue design a soft sheen and a tactile, plush finish. The abstract wavy repeat measures 18cm horizontally and 17cm vertically, and the pattern reads large and fluid across the 138cm usable width. With a Martindale of 100,000 and a severe contract upholstery grade, it is built for demanding schemes as well as drapery and accessories. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice where performance and drama both matter.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a strong graphic focal point: on an occasional chair, tailored curtains, or statement cushions against chalky neutrals. The cool midnight tone feels especially striking with ivory, soft stone, blackened metal, or dark walnut.

Pair with warm neutrals or polished dark woods to let the velvet pattern take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
