About this fabric

Infinity Velvets Orbit Saffron Wavy is a velvet from the Infinity collection, woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester for a soft handle with dependable strength. It has a usable width of 138cm, a horizontal pattern repeat of 18cm and a vertical repeat of 17cm, making the flowing loops easy to plan across larger drops or upholstered pieces. The severe contract upholstery grade and 100,000 Martindale rating confirm it is made for hard use, while FR treatment is available for both drapery and upholstery. Visually, the saffron tone reads as warm gold with a slightly honeyed cast, standing out crisply against the light neutral ground and emphasising the velvety sheen of the raised design.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want warmth without heaviness: it lifts pale walls and sits beautifully with cream, stone and natural oak. In upholstery, the gilded loops become the focal point; as drapery, the same sheen adds a more decorative, evening-light glow.

Pair with matte linens or dark timber to balance the plush sheen.
