Byron Ink

Byron Fabric

Byron Ink pairs a deep ink-navy pattern with a softly contrasting cream ground. Its dense, tactile weave gives the geometric design a textured, considered appearance rather than a flat printed look.

About this fabric

The surface is built from irregular stepped lines, small blocks and interlocking motifs, creating a medium-scale geometric pattern across the cloth. Deep navy marks sit clearly against the warm cream base, while the raised, nubby weave softens the contrast at close range. Draped folds in the image show a substantial cloth with enough body to hold the pattern's structure, making it especially well suited to upholstered seating. The dark blue tone brings a cool, tailored depth that will anchor lighter surrounding woods, linens and painted finishes.

How to use it

Use Byron Ink on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its deep navy ground can act as a strong graphic anchor. Balance the pattern with warm ivory, natural timber and quiet blue-grey accessories to keep the room composed rather than stark.

Use the deep ink-and-cream contrast to give sofas, dining chairs or occasional seating a graphic, tailored finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Byron Ink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
