Regal Marmalade

Heir Fabric

Regal Marmalade is a warm, saturated orange textile, softened by cream and golden threads in a close, tactile grid weave. Its raised surface catches the light across the folded swatch, giving the colour a lively, dimensional finish.

About this fabric

The fabric is built from tightly packed, small-scale woven cells, creating a structured surface with a substantial upholstery-weight appearance. Marmalade orange remains the dominant tone, while pale cream and honey-coloured threads break up the colour and prevent it from reading as flat. The textured weave gives the swatch a relaxed, tactile character, with deeper orange shadows appearing where the cloth folds. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Regal Marmalade to bring a warm citrus note to an armchair, dining chair or sofa, particularly alongside natural timber, warm ivory and softly muted neutrals. Its cream-flecked orange texture can also add depth to a room built around woven accessories and tactile surfaces.

A substantial, tactile orange weave that adds warm colour and visual depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
