Bakerloo Burnt Orange

Underground Volii Fabric

Bakerloo Burnt Orange brings a warm, earthy glow to the compact geometry visible across this swatch. Pale, softly contrasting outlines link into a regular all-over pattern over the rust-toned ground.

About this fabric

This fabric shows a dense-looking woven surface in a rich burnt-orange shade, crossed by slim pale lines that form closely repeated, stepped rectangular motifs. The warm ground gives the design depth, while the softened ivory contrast keeps the small-scale geometry from appearing harsh. Its structured repeat has a tailored, upholstery-friendly character. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so suitability should be assessed against the intended project.

How to use it

Use this warm burnt-orange colourway on a structured armchair, dining seat or occasional stool, pairing it with natural timber, tobacco leather and muted cream upholstery. The pale geometric lines can also pick up ivory or stone accents elsewhere in the room.

A warm rust-orange ground and pale linked geometry give upholstery a tailored, graphic character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
