Bakerloo Blackcurrant

Underground Volii Fabric

Bakerloo Blackcurrant pairs a deep blackcurrant ground with a tightly spaced lattice of stepped rectangular outlines. The dark red-purple tone gives the geometric design a rich, enveloping presence.

About this fabric

The pattern is formed from repeated angular rectangular frames, creating a precise small-scale rhythm across the surface. Its blackcurrant base sits between plum, burgundy and purple, while the lighter outlines bring just enough contrast to define each linked shape. The visible woven texture softens the geometry slightly, preventing the repeat from feeling overly stark. This balanced, mid-weight-looking textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Bakerloo Blackcurrant to give a reading chair, bench or pair of curtains a deep plum-red accent, then balance its dark pattern with warm timber, aged brass or muted neutrals.

The dark blackcurrant ground and close geometric repeat bring tailored depth to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
