About this fabric

The 770 gsm weight gives Grade Adriatic a substantial presence suited to upholstery, while the visible surface has a lightly brushed, irregular texture that softens the precision of the pattern. Repeated V-shaped lines form vertical bands across the cloth, with the pale threads catching the light against the deep teal ground. The usable width is 139 cm, and the design repeats every 31.8 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally. It is supplied in a standard 25 m length and has 73 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use this cool, dark teal colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its directional chevron bands can read clearly. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet stone shades to balance the blue-green depth without competing with the pattern.

A substantial, tactile geometric textile for bringing cool teal depth and directional movement to upholstered furniture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Grade Adriatic without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
