Flow Balsam

Flow Fabric

Flow Balsam is a cool, muted teal fabric with a finely mottled surface that gives the colour gentle depth. Its close weave creates a softly textured, almost grain-like appearance across the face.

About this fabric

The fabric combines pale blue-green and deeper balsam-teal flecks in a dense, irregular weave, creating a calm colour with visible tonal movement. Fine threads catch the light unevenly, so the surface shifts subtly between misty teal and deeper green-blue. The close, even construction reads as a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its restrained texture adds interest without introducing a strong repeat or prominent motif.

How to use it

Use Flow Balsam to bring a cool, softened teal note to an armchair, sofa or pair of curtains, balancing it with warm timber, chalky neutrals or natural linen. The lightly mottled surface works especially well where a plain colour needs added depth without a bold pattern.

A softly mottled balsam teal weave that brings cool, understated colour to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
