Ridge Teal

Ridge Teal is a deep blue-green woven design punctuated by a fine ivory chevron. Its closely repeated zigzag gives the swatch a crisp, graphic character with visible textile texture.

About this fabric

The cool teal ground has enough depth to read as richly coloured without appearing bright, while the pale zigzag lines sharpen the overall effect. The compact chevron repeat is formed from tightly packed, narrow marks, creating a consistent geometric surface across the swatch. Subtle variation in the weave keeps the teal from looking flat and gives the ivory pattern a lightly textured edge. With no further performance specification supplied, this colourway is best considered for upholstery based on its dense-looking woven construction.

How to use it

Use Ridge Teal on a tailored armchair, bench or sofa where its cool blue-green depth can anchor softer ivory, stone and warm timber tones. The small-scale chevron also suits cushions or occasional upholstery when a crisp geometric accent is wanted.

A dense teal-and-ivory chevron weave that brings crisp geometric texture to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ridge Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
