About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied as a 140 cm wide textile with a 63.5 cm vertical repeat and 92.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the trailing branches and birds have room to show at scale. At 220 gsm and 44 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial printed cloth that can work for both curtains and lighter upholstery uses. The colourway is cool and airy, with watery blues, fresh greens and small notes of lilac-grey berries against an off-white background. The overall effect is decorative but not heavy, with the pale ground keeping the design bright and open.

How to use it

Use it on statement drapes, a cushion pair or a feature armchair where the soft blue ground can balance darker woods. It suits rooms that need a fresh heritage pattern without a dark, enclosed feel.

Pair with quiet linens and pale timber for a fresh, heritage look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
