About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 325 gsm handle and a usable width of 127.5 cm, making it well suited to tailored upholstery projects. The embroidery is set on a light ivory-cream ground, with vivid fuchsia outlines and pale stitched centres that give the flowers a lively, almost drawn quality. Grey-green leaves and stems soften the brightness of the blooms, so the overall effect feels fresh rather than sugary. With a vertical repeat of 37.5 cm and a horizontal repeat of 42.5 cm, the design reads as a large-scale statement pattern across cushions, chairs or a feature bench.

How to use it

The cool grey-green foliage keeps this fuchsia colourway looking elegant against chalky paint, pale oak and brushed metal. It works especially well on occasional chairs, ottomans or a single dramatic armchair where the embroidered petals can be seen clearly.

Use for statement seating or a decorative headboard to let the embroidered blooms stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
