Sitara grey
Alchemy Fabricsitara/fa1/tru
Sitara Grey shows a soft silver-grey ground with airy botanical outlines that glint gently across the surface. The design feels light and layered, with the pattern drifting across the cloth rather than sitting heavily on top.

About this fabric
This colourway combines a cool grey base with delicate stem and leaf trails in pale champagne, ivory and darker graphite tones, giving the fabric a subtle shimmer and a refined, tonal depth. The surface has a lightly textured woven appearance that helps the large-scale botanical motif read clearly without feeling dense. As supplied, it is made from 60% cotton and 40% polyester, is Iron Safe, and should be Dry Clean Only. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, with a usable width of 129cm, a horizontal pattern repeat of 63cm and a vertical repeat of 40cm.
How to use it
Its cool grey palette works well with pale oak, chalk white and polished metal finishes, especially where you want a calm but decorative statement. Use it on tailored curtains or a feature chair to bring soft movement and a little sheen into the room.
Use for elegant curtains or statement upholstery where the metallic leaf outlines can catch the light.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sitara grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
