Danube Check Oatmeal

Danube Fabric

Danube Check Oatmeal combines warm oatmeal beige with softly contrasting cream checks in a fine, naturally irregular linen weave. The cloth catches the light across its folded surface, giving the restrained palette subtle movement and depth.

About this fabric

Made from 100% linen and approximately 137cm wide, Danube Check Oatmeal is supplied for curtain use and has a softly fluid appearance suited to drapery. Its medium-scale check is formed from warm taupe-beige and chalky cream squares, while the visible slub of the weave keeps the pattern relaxed rather than sharply graphic. The oatmeal ground reads warm and muted in the deeper folds, then lifts to a lighter flax tone where the light strikes. After care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal check for full-length curtains in rooms with oak, rattan or painted timber, where its cream accents can soften the window while its beige depth adds gentle definition. Pair it with ivory upholstery and muted stone or sage accessories rather than high-contrast black.

A softly textured oatmeal-and-cream linen check for relaxed curtains with gentle natural light filtration.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
