Tay Biscuit

Balvenie FabricLF2357FR

Tay Biscuit presents a warm biscuit-tan ground with fine oatmeal and honey flecking across its plain woven surface. The close-up reveals a compact, softly irregular weave that gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat block of tan.

About this fabric

Made from 100% Pure New Wool, Balvenie Tay Biscuit is an approx. 137cm-wide fabric specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its warm tan base is lifted by closely blended pale and golden threads, creating a muted, lightly heathered appearance. The small-scale weave catches the light unevenly, so the surface reads softly textured while remaining visually plain. It is graded for General Domestic upholstery and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Tay Biscuit to bring a warm, grounded neutral to full-length curtains, or upholster a domestic armchair where its lightly flecked wool texture can sit alongside cream, oak, tobacco and soft olive tones.

A warm biscuit-tan wool with fine flecking, suited to relaxed curtains and tailored domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
