Tay Ember

Balvenie FabricLF2357FR

Tay Ember has a warm ember-ter terracotta tone, softened by fine oatmeal and russet flecks within its close woven surface. The subtle diagonal texture gives this plain cloth gentle visual movement without introducing a separate motif.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% Pure New Wool, Tay Ember is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its compact, lightly nubby weave combines rusty terracotta with muted natural flecks, creating a softly shaded finish rather than a flat block of red. The fabric is suited to General Domestic upholstery and has a warm, tactile presence that reads especially well on structured seating. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Tay Ember on a reading chair, headboard or tailored sofa to add a grounded, autumnal note, or make full curtains where its warm terracotta tone can deepen against cream, stone and dark timber. Pair it with oatmeal linens and aged brass for a quietly relaxed scheme.

A softly textured ember wool that brings warm, grounded colour to upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
