Bibi Fabric

Chitgar Ginger Biscuit has a warm ginger-terracotta ground scattered with small cream circular motifs. Fine olive-brown marks within each rounded spot give the print a hand-drawn, gently irregular look.

About this fabric

This printed 100% linen is approximately 137cm wide and suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade. The dense cream spot pattern stands clearly against the softly muted terracotta-orange background, while the small internal marks add subtle contrast without making the design feel busy. Its visible surface has a natural, lightly textured linen character rather than a polished sheen. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use the warm ginger tone to bring sun-baked colour to a relaxed sitting room, pairing it with chalky creams, natural wood and olive accents. As curtains it adds a softly patterned terracotta layer; on fixed upholstery, the small-scale motif remains approachable and easy to live with.

The warm ginger ground and cream spot pattern bring an easy, earthy character to curtains, blinds or domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chitgar Ginger Biscuit without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
