About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric combines the saturated warmth of terracotta-orange with softly contrasting cream discs and cool blue-grey internal marks. The repeated circular print is small in scale and evenly spaced, while the visible linen surface gives the colour a gently natural, tactile quality rather than a flat appearance. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery to a General Domestic grade. Care is listed as a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, with 3% shrinkage allowed.

How to use it

Pair Chitgar Marmalade with chalky creams, natural linen and warm timber to temper its lively orange ground. Its small-scale pattern also works well on relaxed curtains or a compact fixed-upholstered seat where the cream and blue-grey details can be seen close up.

Use the warm orange ground to bring lively colour to curtains, occasional seating or fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
