Vara Amberlite has a warm amber-terrracotta ground with fine tonal flecks and a closely grained woven surface. Its softly varied colour shifts between orange, rust and muted golden brown as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This plain weave is supplied at approximately 137cm wide for fixed upholstery, with suitability for both Contract and General Domestic use. The blend combines 17% viscose, 23% recycled polyester, 44% acrylic, 7% linen and 9% polyester. In the swatch, slender horizontal and vertical threads create a compact textile texture, while pale yarn accents gently break up the saturated terracotta tone. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Amberlite on a buttoned or clean-lined armchair, dining seat or sofa where its warm terracotta-orange tone can sit alongside walnut, aged brass, cream and natural timber. Its fine woven variation adds depth without introducing a separate motif.
