Smocked Dune

Small Prints 3 Fabric003

Smocked Dune pairs a warm, muted terracotta ground with vertical cream motifs that resemble elongated lozenges or seed forms. Fine horizontal bars punctuate the motifs, giving this colourway a measured, graphic rhythm.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% linen, Smocked Dune is supplied at approximately 137cm wide for curtains and fixed upholstery. The terracotta background has a softly earthy, orange-leaning tone, while the cream shapes create clear but gentle contrast rather than a sharp monochrome effect. Its repeated vertical pattern feels contemporary and ordered, with the subtle linen surface adding natural visual softness. It is graded for General Domestic upholstery; allow 3% shrinkage and follow the Delicate Wash 30°C or Dry Clean care guidance.

How to use it

Use this warm terracotta colourway to add grounded colour to pale timber, plaster and natural-weave interiors. Its vertical cream pattern would read particularly well on relaxed curtains or a neatly tailored occasional chair.

Use the warm terracotta ground to bring softness and depth to contemporary curtains, occasional chairs or fixed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Smocked Dune without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
