About this fabric

Woven from 100% Romney Wool, this 137cm-wide fabric has a fine, even surface that gives the Flame colour a softly muted depth. Its burnt orange tone sits between terracotta and russet, reading earthy and saturated without becoming bright or red. The plain construction keeps the colourway calm enough for larger upholstered areas while retaining enough texture to avoid looking flat. It is supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, with dry-clean care, and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use.

How to use it

Use Flame to bring controlled warmth to a reading chair, sofa or simple curtain, pairing its terracotta-orange depth with tobacco leather, dark timber, chalky neutrals or olive accents. Its plain surface also works well as a grounding layer beside patterned cushions and textured natural linens.

A rich burnt-orange wool plain weave for warm upholstery, curtains and layered natural schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
