About this fabric

Woven from 100% Romney Wool, this 137cm-wide plain fabric has a close, subtly mottled surface rather than a printed motif. The burnt-toffee colour reads as a deep russet brown, with darker fibres lending gentle tonal variation as the light moves across the weave. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. After-care is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use this warm brown as a grounding upholstery colour against cream, ochre or aged timber, or make relaxed curtains where its woolly texture can soften a room without looking pale. Its depth also suits darker leathers and bronze-toned metalwork.
