Romney Fabric001

Romney British Wool Honeycomb has a rich honey-brown tone with a softly granular woven surface. In the swatch, fine tonal variation gives the otherwise plain cloth gentle depth rather than a pronounced pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% Romney Wool, this 137cm-wide fabric reads as a warm brown with golden tan undertones, deepening slightly where the texture catches the light. The close weave has a discreet honeycomb-like grain visible across the surface, while remaining visually calm from a distance. Its stated usage is Curtains and Fixed Upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. After-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use this honey-brown colourway to add grounded warmth to a reading chair, banquette or fixed seat, or let it fall as softly textured curtains against cream, stone and muted olive tones. Its earthy depth also works well with dark timber and aged brass.

A warm honey-brown wool weave that brings earthy depth to curtains, fixed upholstery and relaxed tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
