About this fabric

This 100% linen print combines a light creamy ground with elongated cucumber-green motifs arranged in orderly vertical columns. Each oval form is subtly irregular, while the small horizontal marks at its ends create the distinctive smocked effect visible across the cloth. The green is fresh but softened rather than highly saturated, giving the colourway a calm, airy character. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries a General Domestic upholstery grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use the pale cucumber-green tone for relaxed curtains in a light-filled room, or upholster a domestic chair where its repeated vertical pattern can be seen clearly. Pair it with warm cream, natural wood and other quiet green accents to keep the scheme fresh and understated.

Use this fresh cucumber-green linen to bring a softly graphic rhythm to curtains or domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Smocked Cucumber without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
