Chitgar Watermelon

Bibi Fabric

Chitgar Watermelon has a warm watermelon-coral ground scattered with small ivory circular motifs. Dark, short curved marks within each disc give the closely spaced pattern a hand-drawn, lightly animated quality.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this 137cm-wide fabric combines a naturally tactile surface with a lively small-scale print. The coral-pink background reads warm and softly saturated, while the ivory discs create clear contrast without becoming stark; their charcoal-coloured marks add definition across the repeat. Chitgar Watermelon is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery in a general domestic setting. Allow 3% shrinkage, and care for it with a delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Pair the warm watermelon-coral ground with chalky ivory, natural timber and muted olive for a relaxed scheme. Its compact spot repeat works well on curtains or a fixed chair where the pattern can add energy without overwhelming the room.

Use the warm coral ground and lively ivory spot pattern to bring relaxed character to curtains, occasional chairs or fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
