Tay Sweet Briar

Balvenie FabricLF2357FR

Tay Sweet Briar has a warm, dusty coral-pink colour with a softly mottled surface that shifts between peach, rose and muted terracotta. Its close woven texture gives the plain design gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% Pure New Wool, this 137cm-wide fabric has a fine, compact weave with subtle broken diagonal movement visible across the surface. The Sweet Briar colourway is softly saturated and warm, with lighter threads catching through the coral base to create a nuanced, tactile finish. It is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery, making the same quietly textured colour usable across seating and window treatments. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Pair this warm coral-pink with chalky neutrals, aged timber and softly contrasting olive or blue-green accents. On a chair or sofa, its close wool weave adds colour and texture without introducing a prominent pattern; at the window, it creates a gentle rosy warmth.

Use the warm dusty coral-pink tone to bring gentle colour to an upholstered seat or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
