About this fabric

The warm gingerbread-beige ground has a mellow, biscuit-like depth, contrasted by broad ivory bands and narrower outlined stripes. Repeating scalloped or leaf-like edges create a lively vertical rhythm, while the fine horizontal marks and subtle linen texture add definition at close range. Made from 100% linen, this 137cm-wide fabric is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use the warm gingerbread tone on relaxed curtains to introduce gentle warmth, or upholster a tailored occasional chair where the ivory contrast can define the vertical pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and muted bronze accents.

The warm gingerbread and ivory palette brings a softly tailored, rhythmic look to curtains and fixed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruched Gingerbread without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
