Ruched Storm

Small Prints 3 Fabric003

Ruched Storm combines a cool, muted blue-grey ground with pale cream vertical bands, creating a softly graphic rhythm across the linen. The irregular scalloped edges and fine horizontal texture keep the pattern tactile rather than stark.

About this fabric

Alternating blue-grey and cream columns form a vertical geometric design, with small dotted and finely lined details tracing the undulating edges. The blue-grey reads cool and gently faded, while the cream sections lift the pattern without creating a high-contrast effect. Made from 100% linen and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery to a General Domestic grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey as a calm foundation for full-length curtains, or repeat it on a window seat or occasional chair with warm ivory, weathered timber and brushed metal. The cream verticals also work well with soft lilac or muted blue accents drawn from the colour family of the print.

The cool blue-grey ground and cream vertical motif bring measured pattern and a quietly tailored feel to curtains or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
