Ruffled Hvar

Small Prints 3 Fabric003

Ruffled Hvar pairs a soft, greyed sage ground with sweeping navy-blue forms outlined in warm cream. The large, mirrored shapes create a rhythmic geometric surface, while the visible linen texture keeps the colourway tactile and understated.

About this fabric

This 100% linen design is woven with a subtle natural slub that shows through the muted sage background and gives the blue forms a softly brushed appearance. The pattern is built from broad, undulating navy bands with darker linear marks and cream edging, creating strong contrast without becoming bright or harsh. At approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery to a General Domestic grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care instructions are Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use the cool sage ground to soften a room with navy, chalky cream and weathered wood, or let the oversized pattern make a statement on relaxed curtains. For upholstery, pair it with plain navy or tonal sage cushions so the sculptural motif remains the focus.

Use this cool sage, blue and cream linen to bring graphic movement to curtains or tailored domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruffled Hvar without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
