Ruffled Petra

Ruffled Petra brings a large, softly irregular geometric pattern to a pale sage linen ground. Warm terracotta and ochre bands are edged with muted teal, creating a distinctive, hand-drawn sense of movement.

About this fabric

The design is formed from broad, undulating ribbon-like shapes that loop into open, organic rings, with fine dark marks adding definition across the terracotta sections. Its cool sage background keeps the overall colourway calm, while the ochre-orange and rust accents give the pattern warmth and depth; the muted blue-green edging prevents it from feeling overly bright. Made from 100% linen and approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery at General Domestic grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by delicate wash at 30°C or dry cleaning, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use the pale sage ground as a quiet backdrop for painted walls or natural timber, then pick up the terracotta and ochre in cushions, piping or ceramic accents. The muted teal edging also works with softly blue-green plains for a cooler, layered scheme.

A softly graphic linen with a pale sage ground and warm terracotta forms, equally suited to curtains and domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruffled Petra without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
