Dimity Clementine

Dimity Fabric009

Dimity Clementine pairs broad terracotta stripes with slender pale-blue bands on a soft cream ground. Fine dotted, botanical-looking lines run vertically through the light panels, giving the design an artisanal, gently irregular character.

About this fabric

Made from 100% linen and approximately 137cm wide, Dimity Clementine is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery at General Domestic grade. The warm, earthy terracotta reads clearly against the cooler powder-blue stripes, while the cream panels soften the contrast rather than making it feel stark. Fine dark dotted detailing and small branching motifs add rhythm within the pale bands, with the linen surface lending the colourway a naturally dry, tactile appearance. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean.

How to use it

Use the terracotta bands to warm a relaxed sitting room, pairing this colourway with pale blue painted furniture, chalky cream walls and natural timber. It can bring a softly collected feel to full-length curtains or a fixed upholstered chair without losing the stripe’s clear vertical structure.

A relaxed linen stripe balancing warm terracotta with pale blue and a softly flecked cream ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
