About this fabric

The design has a clear vertical rhythm, with rich berry-burgundy panels edged by slim pink stripes and fine patterned borders. Pale green-grey and ivory channels carry small dotted, branching motifs, giving the stripe a gently folk-inspired character without losing its orderly structure. Made from 100% linen at approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery to a General Domestic grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, and it must not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use the cool sage-and-ivory ground to soften the intensity of the burgundy on full-length curtains, or place the stripe on a statement occasional chair where the pink edging can pick up blush or berry accents. Its vertical direction also suits neat upholstered panels and tailored seating.

A characterful linen stripe balancing deep berry red with pale sage and blush pink for curtains or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
