About this fabric

The design alternates broad burgundy bands with ivory stripes patterned with fine dotted trails, while narrow blush and taupe lines add a softened contrast. The red reads as a rich, slightly muted pomegranate rather than a bright scarlet, giving the colourway depth against the pale ground. The visible linen has a dry, lightly textured surface that suits the natural character of the pattern. Woven in 100% linen at approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery; allow 3% shrinkage.

How to use it

Use the burgundy stripes to bring depth to an ivory, natural-wood or warm neutral scheme, either as full-length curtains or on a traditionally shaped occasional chair. Pick up the quieter blush lines with faded rose or clay accessories rather than introducing a sharper pink.

A characterful linen stripe combining pomegranate burgundy with ivory and softly muted blush accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
