Ruffled Portofino

Small Prints 3 Fabric003

Ruffled Portofino in this colourway is a cool, muted study in blue-teal, deep navy and creamy ivory. Large mirrored curves create open, rounded shapes, with dark sketch-like marks defining the ruffled bands.

About this fabric

The blue-teal ground gives this colourway a calm, slightly smoky depth, while the navy bands bring definition and the ivory edging adds a warm contrast. Black contour lines and short linear marks lend the repeated geometric print a hand-drawn character. Made from 100% linen at approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery with a General Domestic upholstery grade. Allow 3% shrinkage; care is by Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use the muted blue-teal ground as a cool backdrop for navy upholstery, pale timber and warm ivory accents. Its large mirrored motif would bring graphic structure to relaxed curtains or a statement fixed-upholstered chair.

A cool blue-teal linen print with navy ruffled curves and creamy ivory edging, suited to curtains or general domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruffled Portofino without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
