Dimity Charcoal combines deep charcoal vertical bands with chalky cream grounds and fine tan lines. Its closely worked dotted and leafy details give the stripe a subtly tactile, handcrafted appearance.

About this fabric

The design alternates broad charcoal stripes with pale cream panels, each edged by narrow tan lines and filled with small branching dotted motifs. The dark bands read almost black in the photograph, creating strong vertical definition against the softer oatmeal and ivory tones. Made from 100% linen at approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and general domestic fixed upholstery, with a 48cm half drop. Allow 3% shrinkage; after-care is a delicate wash at 30°C or dry clean, and it should not be tumble dried.

How to use it

Use Dimity Charcoal for relaxed tailored curtains or a statement occasional chair, pairing its cool charcoal depth with warm timber, tan leather and chalky neutral walls. The narrow vertical rhythm also suits cushions or upholstered panels where the stripe can be carefully aligned.
