About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a grounded, mid-to-dark green with a soft mossy cast, changing subtly as the pile catches the light. The cloth is specified at 137cm wide and made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, giving it a practical modern handle alongside its plush appearance. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000, it is suitable for contract and general domestic upholstery, as well as curtains and loose covers. The FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the aftercare includes dry clean, delicate wash 30°C and stain resistant handling.

How to use it

Use this shade to add depth to a scheme with oak, brass or parchment tones, where the green can sit as a calm but tailored anchor. It works especially well on statement chairs, banquettes or full-length curtains where the velvet pile can show its darker, richer movement.
