About this fabric

This plain velvet has a gentle, even nap that catches the light softly, so the surface shifts between olive, khaki and warm taupe as you move around it. It is woven in a durable composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, with a 100,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use. At 137cm wide and suitable for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery, it is a practical choice when you want a calm colour with real hard-wearing performance. The FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the after-care is straightforward with dry clean and delicate 30°C care instructions. Its plain vertical repeat keeps the look clean and tailored, letting the hemp-toned colour do the work.

How to use it

Use this shade on a sofa, banquet seating or tailored curtains where you want an earthy neutral that still feels richer than beige. It pairs especially well with oak, dark bronze and off-white plaster tones.
