Omega Velvet 4 Indigo

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet147

Omega Velvet 4 Indigo is a deep, even blue velvet with a cool indigo cast and a soft light-catching surface. The plain finish lets the colour and pile do the work, giving the swatch a quiet but substantial presence.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dark indigo blue with a slightly inky depth rather than a bright navy, and the velvet pile softens the finish so it takes light with a subtle sheen. It is part of Linwood’s Omega IV collection and has a width of 137cm, making it practical for both upholstery and curtain work. The cloth is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a hardwearing 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic suitability. Its 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition supports the smooth, dense handle visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this indigo alongside pale stone, brushed brass or warm oak to bring out its depth, or pair it with crisp white for a sharper contrast. It works especially well on tailored seating and full-length curtains where the colour can read rich and enveloping.

A rich indigo velvet that brings depth and a tailored feel to seating or heavy drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
