About this fabric

This Sandford fabric from Colefax and Fowler is composed of 41% viscose, 36% cotton, 21% polyester and 2% linen, giving the stripe a smooth but quietly textural handle. The repeat is vertical only at 0cm, with an approximate horizontal repeat of 18cm, which creates a disciplined, evenly spaced stripe across the cloth. In this colourway the greens are muted and cool-leaning, with a fresh sage tone set against a warm ivory ground and fine darker pin lines that add definition. The overall effect is smart and balanced, with enough body at 142cm wide to suit either upholstery or drapery use.

How to use it

Use it to bring a calm, tailored note to a headboard, occasional chair or Roman blind, where the soft sage stripes can sit comfortably with oak, painted wood and natural linens. It also works well in rooms that need pattern without heaviness, thanks to the pale ground and restrained colour shift.
